First 5 Sonoma County
Executive Director
Board member since 2022
Angie Dillon-Shore has over 30 years of experience in the fields of human services and education. She currently serves as executive director of First 5 Sonoma County, guiding strategic, equity-centered investments to improve systems, policies, and community conditions to support healthy child development.
Her leadership is informed by deep experience working in school and community-based settings serving families, children, and youth, mitigating the impacts of poverty, violence, and systemic exclusion. Angie continues to be inspired by the resilience and inherent strength of the people she has had the privilege to teach, serve, and work alongside.
Working across sectors – public education, nonprofit, and government – has taught her that to solve social problems, we must address structural inequality and eliminate gaps in opportunity, especially for children, women, and communities of color. Angie has lived in Guerneville with her wife, Nancy, since 2004. In her free time, she loves traveling and experiencing live music.
